I'm Lior, a dedicated Trauma Sensitive Yoga facilitator (YTT 200 & TCTSY 20) based in Amsterdam.Within the diverse world of yoga, my path has led me to specialize in Trauma Sensitive Yoga. Trauma has played a significant role in my life, affecting both me and those closest to me, making this practice deeply personal. In this approach, I prioritize a focus on the breath while gently guiding you through movements, facilitating safety while exploring the landscapes within your mind and emotions.

Yoga as therapy

TCTSY, or Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, is a validated therapeutic approach specifically tailored for individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This method draws from the work of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, a distinguished Dutch-American trauma researcher and psychiatrist, and the author of ''The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma''.

Firstly, we will schedule a free 10-minute call to discuss what Trauma Sensitive Yoga is, your expectations, and what can the practice offer you

Secondly, we will embark on the first session, practice Trauma Sensitive Yoga, assess, and set clear and achievable goals that fit your uniqe story and expectations

Lastly, we will assign self-care exercises to practice in the comfort of your home, and potential future sessions according to your needs and wishes
